After more than three decades of service, Guy West is stepping away from the role of President & Chief Executive Officer of ABCRC, effective immediately.
Throughout his career, Guy has been a guiding presence in Alberta’s deposit-return system. His steady leadership, practical wisdom and unwavering commitment to collaboration helped shape ABCRC into an organization trusted by communities, industry partners and stakeholders across the province. His influence has also extended nationally, contributing to increased alignment and progress across Canada’s recycling community.
We are deeply thankful for Guy’s leadership, mentorship and service. He has left a lasting legacy in Alberta and across the sector. We wish him time to rest and focus on his health and family.
